Fancy text is built from rare Unicode characters. Most render fine, but a handful — gothic blackletter, filled squares — show up as empty boxes on some Android devices or turn into colorful emoji on iPhones. Most generator sites never tell you which is which.
Every style here is marked iOS / Android / Windows safe or partial, with a note explaining the catch. Filter by Universal-safe and paste with confidence — what you copy is what your followers see.
Instagram does not offer font choices, but it accepts Unicode characters. Generate a style here, tap Copy, then paste it into your Instagram bio, display name, captions or comments — it works everywhere the app accepts text.
Not exactly. Each style is a set of special Unicode characters that look like a font (mathematical bold, script, fraktur and so on). That is why you can paste them anywhere — no font file needs to be installed, and the text stays selectable and searchable.
A few exotic styles (like Old English gothic or filled squares) rely on characters that older devices do not include. That is exactly why every style here carries iOS / Android / Windows compatibility badges — use the Universal-safe filter to see only the styles that render correctly everywhere.
Yes — free forever, no sign-up, no watermark and no limits. The site is supported by ads, which is why you never pay and never create an account.
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with plain character mapping. Nothing you type ever leaves your device — there is no server to send it to.
They work in the nickname field, which accepts Unicode. The @username field is restricted to plain letters, numbers and underscores, so styles will be rejected there.
Yes — WhatsApp accepts Unicode text in your profile name, about line, status and messages. Note that WhatsApp also has built-in formatting (asterisks for bold); Unicode styles are different because they stay styled even where formatting is stripped.
They can: assistive tech reads the underlying Unicode characters, so heavily stylized text may sound unusual. A good habit is using styled text for short accents (names, headers) and keeping important sentences in plain text.
